Finance your property with a mortgage from a French bank or mortgage provider.
If you are buying with a mortgage from a French bank, then you will need to know the maximum amount you can borrow and what the costs will be.

It’s exciting…. but ….Location, Location, Location – it’s very important to think carefully about the type of the property and the location depending on whether you are planning to use it as your main residence, or as a second home, or a holiday home to let out occasionally, or as an investment property for the future.
Think whether the convenience of local amenities are important - shops, supermarkets, doctor, pharmacy. It’s all well and good falling in love with a property, but the time will come when you’ve forgotten something from the shops, and a half hour trip to the village and back is not so pleasing,
Making a list of the important elements will help keep you on the right track, and just as importantly, will also keep your estate agent or "home hunter" on the right track to find your ideal property.
Things like the purchase price, the overall size and number of rooms.
Is a view important to you. Is a garage essential. Would you prefer a garden, or a terrace or balcony,
